Q: What are the advantages of satellite
transmission over the Internet?
A:
In places where Internet Services are unavailable or unreliable or too expensive,
WorldSpace provides an alternative for data downloads
at speeds upto 128 kbps. As the WorldSpace service
is one-way what is to be downloaded has to be
pre-decided. Unlike Internet, the downloads can
be at a guaranteed speed, irrespective of the
number of locations that are simultaneously downloading
the same data.

Q: Will you train and provide orientation
to my personnel on the use and implementation
of the selected business solutions?
A: GDS provides the “Train
the Trainer” Program.
At the customer’s election, our managers
will travel to the customer’s designated
location (national or international) and
conduct training seminars.
Alternatively GDS can provide training at our offices in downtown Silver Spring,
MD (in the Washington, DC metropolitan area).
