Noah A. Samara
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Noah Samara has served as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of WorldSpace and its predecessors since inception. Mr. Samara has been involved in the development of both geostationary and low earth orbit (LEO) satellite systems since the mid-1980s. Mr. Samara’s early career was in satellite telecommunications, first with Geostar Corporation and later with the Washington law firm of Venable, Baetjer, Howard & Civiletti.

Sridhar Ganesan
Chief Financial Officer

Sridhar Ganesan has served as Executive Vice President—Chief Financial Officer of WorldSpace and its predecessors since October 2004. Mr. Ganesan joined the WorldSpace group in September 2001 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Development. Prior to joining the WorldSpace group, Mr. Ganesan was the founder and Chief Executive officer of a U.S.-based applications services provider, Skymach Corporation, from 2000 to 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Ganesan worked at Lockheed Martin Global Telecommunication in business development positions. Mr. Ganesan has more than twenty years of experience in business development, implementation of international businesses and projects and marketing and sales in the satellite, telecommunication, Internet, information technology and media areas.

Gregory B. Armstrong

Co-Chief Operating Officer

Gregory B. Armstrong joined Worldspace in July 2006 as co-Chief Operating Officer, and has direct responsibility for the Company’s global sales, customer care, technology, and distribution functions. Prior to Worldspace, Mr. Armstrong was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Jupiter Telecommunications Co. (Tokyo, Japan) where he oversaw an Initial Public Offering that raised more than $1 billion and led Jupiter’s expansion into telephony, high definition digital video products, and other key new products and services. Mr. Armstrong’s career in the consumer technology sector also includes senior positions with Liberty Media International, @Net Home (the largest CATV broadband internet service provider in Japan), Viacom Worldwide, and other leading corporations. Mr. Armstrong earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

Alexander P. Brown

Co-Chief Operating Officer

Alexander P. Brown joined Worldspace in May 2006 as co-Chief Operating Officer, and has direct responsibility for leading the Company’s global marketing and content development activities as well as business development efforts in Western Europe, China, and other key expansion markets. Mr. Brown came to Worldspace from CNBC Asia Pacific, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer. He was responsible for CNBC’s first network relationship in China, with Shanghai Media Group, and launching the CNBC Mobile division. In addition to CNBC, Mr. Brown has held senior positions with some of the world’s leading consumer media organizations, including ESPN Star Sports, a joint venture between the Walt Disney Company and News Corporation, and with ESPN Asia Ltd. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Washington and Lee University.

Stephen Horn

Chief Marketing Officer

Steve Horn leads Worldspace's global sales and marketing initiatives. He has more than 20 years of industry experience, previously holding senior management positions at Coca-Cola, PepsiCola and Citibank. Before joining Worldspace, he served as chief marketing officer of Coco-Cola Enterprises in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Horn earned a master’s degree in marketing from Indiana University.

Donald J. Frickel
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Donald J. Frickel
has served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of WorldSpace and its predecessors since January 1999. Mr. Frickel joined the WorldSpace group in March 1996 as Senior Vice President, Legal & Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining the WorldSpace group, Mr. Frickel served as Associate General Counsel for Mobil Oil Corporation.

Benoît Chéreau
CEO Europe

Benoît Chéreau is chief executive officer of WorldSpace’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Worldspace Europe, based in Paris. In this capacity, Mr. Chéreau is responsible for all aspects of the company’s European strategic planning, operations, and management. Prior to joining WorldSpace, Mr. Chéreau served as deputy CEO in charge of technology for Groupe Canal +. Earlier in his career, he worked for Bouygues Telecom in a variety of positions including Director of Telecom Development and Deputy CEO in charge of marketing and sales. His accomplishments during his sixteen years with Bouygues include leading the effort to obtain the third cellular license in France and expanding the business from initial launch to six million subscribers. Mr. Chéreau is a graduate engineer of Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
