First-of-its-Kind Satellite Radio Awards Feature Music and Artist Contributions from More Than 20 Musical Genres

digital radio services, today announced its selections for the inaugural
WORLDSPACE Honours. Nominated by WORLDSPACE's expert programming staff with
categories that range from Artist of the Year to Best Live Performance to
Outstanding Contribution to Hindi Cinema, the WORLDSPACE Honours pay tribute
to some of the industry's most talented emerging artists as well as
established artists from around the globe.
Specialty programming has been created by WORLDSPACE to showcase each
honouree and will include interviews, career highlights, background
information and their music. This programming will air during the period
February 16 - 19. WORLDSPACE's multicultural, multilingual programming staff
