WORLDSPACE(R) Satellite Radio Announces Timing for Fourth Quarter Results and Conference Call

SILVER SPRING, Md., Feb. 16, 2006-- WorldSpace Satellite Radio, (Nasdaq: WRSP), expects to release results for the fourth quarter of 2005, ended December 31, 2005, after the close of the market on Thursday, March 16, 2006 as previously announced. The Company plans to host a conference call and webcast to discuss those results that day at 4:30 p.m., Eastern Time. Noah Samara, chairman and chief executive officer, and Sridhar Ganesan, chief financial officer, will host the conference call.
