WORLDSPACE(R) Satellite Radio Announces Timing for Second Quarter Results and Conference Call

SILVER SPRING, Md., July 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WORLDSPACE(R) Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: WRSP) announced today that it expects to release its results for the second quarter of 2006 ended June 30, 2006, after the close of the market on Wednesday, August 9, 2006. The Company plans to host a conference call and webcast to discuss those results that day at 4:30 p.m., Eastern Time. Noah Samara, chairman and chief executive officer, and Sridhar Ganesan, chief financial officer, will host the conference call.
