WORLDSPACE PREMIERES RADIO ART OF LIVING

Exclusive Channel Features Spiritual Teachings of Art of Living Foundation

SILVER SPRING, Md., Nov. 21 -- WorldSpace Satellite Radio, (Nasdaq: WRSP), one of the world leaders in satellite-based digital radio services, today announced the premiere of Radio Art of Living, a WorldSpace network-exclusive channel with programming aimed at extending the teachings of the renowned spiritual leader, His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Radio Art of Living showcases the teachings of Sri Sri, which bring together ancient wisdom and modern science, and is available to subscribers across India and WorldSpace’s AsiaStar coverage area.

The programming is offered in cooperation with the Art of Living Foundation, an international nonprofit educational, charitable and humanitarian organization offering programs in more than 142 countries around the world. Radio Art of Living has been created to provide a compelling variety of content that inspires and rejuvenates the body, mind and spirit. Built around the basic tenets of the Art of Living, Radio Art of Living offers a combination of silence, Sadhana (meditation), Satsang (celebration) and Seva (service).

“Radio Art of Living will serve WorldSpace listeners like a trusted companion in their spiritual journey,” said Prasana Prabhu, a senior disciple of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. “The wide variety of programs offered on the station will not only deepen the spiritual experience of the listeners by helping them to integrate the teaching of Sri Sri in their daily life, but will also inspire people to take responsibility to make the world a better place.”

“WorldSpace is delighted to partner with the Art of Living Foundation and present our listeners with the inspirational teachings of Sri Sri,” said Billy Sabatini, vice president of content, WorldSpace. “In Radio Art of Living, we seek to create a unique radio community for people of all backgrounds and cultural traditions, where they come together in the spirit of service and celebration.”
