WorldSpace to Present at the UBS 33rd Annual Global Media Conference

SILVER SPRING, Md., Dec. 6, 2005-- WorldSpace Satellite Radio, (Nasdaq: WRSP), one of the world leaders in satellite-based digital radio services, today announced that the company will be participating in the UBS 33rd Annual Global Media Conference in New York City on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005 at 3:30 pm, at the Grand Hyatt New York Hotel. Noah Samara, chairman and chief executive officer, Sridhar Ganesan, chief financial officer, and Andy Ras-Work, chief operating officer, will present an overview of the Company and discuss its strategic objectives for growth.
