WorldSpace(R) Satellite Radio Announces Global Performance Schedule at International CES 2006

Exclusive Performances to Be Featured in WorldSpace Booth #8260

SILVER SPRING, Md., Dec. 29, 2005-- WorldSpace Satellite Radio, (Nasdaq: WRSP), one of the world leaders in satellite-based digital radio services, today announced that it will host global performances in the WorldSpace booth #8260, Central Hall, during the 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Beginning Thursday, Jan. 5 through Sunday, Jan. 8, WorldSpace will feature live global performances, exclusive interviews and "meet-and-greets" from some of the hottest International superstars and celebrities on the planet. These performances will air globally across WorldSpace's UPop 29 and in America on XM 29.

"We are very excited about this year's line-up of global talent at International CES 2006," said William Sabatini, vice president of global content. "Although WorldSpace service is only available to consumers outside of the U.S., CES attendees will have the opportunity to hear our dynamic content and quality programming."

All WorldSpace performances are listed in Pacific Standard Time and the schedule is subject to change.
